The CampusThe Ashdod Medical Center is located in the southern portion of Ashdod enabling convenient approach from the main thoroughfares of the city. Greater Ashdod residents will also have rapid access to AMC medical services from the modern highway grid currently in construction.
The AMC campus is being built in dedicated area of Ashdod set aside for the provision of medical services and higher education.
In the initial stage, the entire campus of the Ashdod Medical Center will comprise an area of five dunam (1¼ acres). The Ashdod Medical Center facility, on three dunam, located on the eastern end of the campus, currently consists of a nine story, fully faced, outer shell, four below ground and five above ground. The facility will provide state of the art emergency medical treatment on the ground floor and offer patients a variety of outpatient clinics on the upper floors. The Center will maintain one of the leading diagnostic imaging units in the country with a wide variety of general and specialized X-ray and ultrasonic devices.
Located adjacent to the Ashdod Medical Center, is the planned Mental Health Center which will provide a full range of outpatient mental health services for the residents of Ashdod serving all ages and clinical categories of mental health issues. The Mental Health Center will encompass an area of two dunam situated between the Magen David Adom building and the main AMC facility..
